Environment

Environmental sustainability is at the heart of what we do as an organization. Each project we’ve worked on globally has been lauded for its strong focus on environmental and sustainable practice and many of these facilities have won awards and accolades for their contribution to the environment.

These past 10 years a good portion of our focus is working with golf clubs to produce an Environmental Audit or roadmap to becoming more economically, environmentally and socially sustainable. See example of an Environmental Master Plan & Maintenance Audit

Our focus is guided by four points: Reduction, Recycle, Regeneration and Sense of Place.

See below select seminars across the globe that Paul Jansen has been involved promoting sustainable practice (with the R&A and Golf Environment Organisation):

Reference “Paul Jansen has been associated with helping the Bangladesh Golf Federation (BGF) as Golf Course Architect for the last two years in designing and help BGF to build a new 18 hole golf course at Cox's Bazar. BGF engaged Paul Jansen as a result of discussion with R&A and on recommendations by R&A. Paul Jansen helped and guided BGF to plan for making our Cox's Bazar Golf Course as an environmentally sustainable golf course which is also the recommended path by R&A for future golf courses, Paul also helped BGF to connect with the Golf Environment Organization (GEO) to implement the requirements for environmental sustainable golf course. When completed we will be very proud to have built an environmentally sustainable golf course and we give credit to Paul for showing us the way” Brigadier Salim Akhtar. Head of Development, Bangladesh Golf Federation
